MEET MIPA NEW BOSS
The Government of Malawi has appointed Mr. Clement Kumbemba as the new Acting General Manager for Malawi Investment Promotion Agency (MIPA) effective 1st April, 2011. This follows the retirement of Mr. James Kaphweleza Banda who held the post until March 2011. read more.

The Government of Malawi has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) under the Regional Communications Infrastructure Program Malawi Project (RCIPMW). The Malawi Government as the primary public sector component of the public -private partnership, intends to use portion of this credit (up to USD 10 million) to procure international broadband capacity and other associated services to meet public sector needs over the foreseeable future.
